At Stuart W. Cramer High School, students take Advanced Placement (AP), Career and College Promise (CCP) and honors courses to get a head start on college. We offer outstanding fine arts programs in band, chorus, visual arts and theater. Plus, our Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes include unique options you won’t find everywhere such as welding and culinary arts.

Stuart W. Cramer High School met its academic growth expectations for the 2024-2025 year. We also achieved a B school performance grade, and we increased our graduation rate to above 90 percent. All of this means we are moving in the right direction toward higher academic achievement!

Stuart W. Cramer High School offers outstanding fine arts programs in band, chorus, visual arts and theater. Our students receive awards local, regional, and state for their performances.

Stuart W. Cramer High School has a strong athletics program. We have won state championships in wrestling, track and field, and golf. Our student-athletes show great teamwork, school spirit and sportsmanship.

Thanks to our partnership with Kintegra Health, we offer a telehealth clinic here at our school. Students, who are experiencing a minor illness or condition, can be seen by a medical provider virtually.

The Gaston County Education Foundation is accepting applications for the Jennie Stultz Grant for Arts Education. Open from March 2 through April 12, the grant supports programs in vocal, visual, and performing arts, as well as band. The 2026 High School Senior Art Show will be on display from February 23 through March 20 at the Jeanne Rauch Art Gallery on the campus of Gaston College. An awards reception will be held on February 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
