Students can take Advanced Placement (AP), Career and College Promise (CCP), and honors courses to get a head start on college. We offer outstanding fine arts programs in band, chorus, visual arts, and theater. Plus, our Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes include unique options such as welding and culinary arts.

Stuart W. Cramer High School has a strong athletics program. We have won state championships in wrestling, track and field, and golf. Our student-athletes show great teamwork, school spirit and sportsmanship.

We are proud of our marching band and appreciate what the band brings to our football games on Friday nights. Be sure to take in a game this fall and support the Storm.

State champions again in golf
Stuart W. Cramer High School 4A Golf State Champions.

For the second year in a row, the boys golf team won the state championship. Additionally, Lane Crotts took the individual state championship title.

Providing care for students at school

Thanks to our partnership with Kintegra Health, we offer a telehealth clinic here at our school. Students, who are experiencing a minor illness or condition, can be seen by a medical provider virtually. This allows us to provide care for students without them having to leave school to go to the doctor.

Board of Education Committee Meetings

The Gaston County Board of Education’s Operations Committee, Curriculum and Instruction Committee, and Policy Committee will meet Monday, September 14 at 12:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m., respectively. The public is invited to attend. 

Students take their talent to the national drum corps stage

Stuart W. Cramer High School students Sawyer Mahin and Natalia Korytkowski marched with the Spirit of Atlanta Drum Corps and Music City Drum Corps, respectively. Drum corps is one of the highest levels of marching band and requires a significant amount of hard work and dedication. Students audition for a spot, spend weeks rehearsing, and travel across the country performing. Kameron Radford is the school’s band director.

Career and Technical Education

Our Career and Technical Education (CTE) program offers real-world learning in areas such as culinary arts, cybersecurity, health sciences, emergency medical technology, and welding.

Clubs and Activities

We offer a wide variety of clubs for students to join and get involved in including Battle of the Books, Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy, National Honor Society and Beta Club.

Athletics

Stuart W. Cramer High School has a strong athletic tradition, competing for conference championships in both boys' and girls' sports.
